Type Study

I designed a multi-page spread for a school project which outlines the history, creation, and attributes of the typeface Gotham.

I drew inspiration from the city that Gotham itself was based on: New York City. I used a gritty hand-painted texture to mimic the lively personality of Gotham and striking black and white images to show the strength of the typeface.
